Will Exterior Home Cleaning & Pressure Washing Remove All Stains

Pressure Washing and Soft Washing, the stains they won't remove. One of  the number one questions we get in this industry is "Will this remove all of the stains from my home or driveway?" The simple answer is maybe, it will truly depend on the types of stains you have on or around your home. Pressure Washing and Soft Washing does remove most stains, however, there are those pesky stains (like red wine on a white shirt) that may not come all the way out but may lighten up. Here we are going to give you the top 2 pesky stains, that cannot be guaranteed to come all the way out:

1. Calcium Stains - These pesky stains are by far the most annoying as they can adhere to most surfaces. These stains are actually caused by the harsh chemicals in our city water. You will see them on fences, houses, glass, sinks and sometimes cars. The stains will start to appear over time as you leave your sprinklers on and they hit a certain parts of your home, fence, cars or windows. Also, if you have a glass shower or any sink fixtures...you will start to see these stains over time if you are not squeegeeing or cleaning after every shower or use of your sink. Some ways to avoid these stains aside from constantly cleaning or squeegeeing after every use is to get a water softener system for your home and to try and set your sprinklers to where they are not hitting your fence, home, cars or windows. These stains are damaging to most surfaces so are not 100% guaranteed to go away, we have also seen some of these stains come back after a weeks time. That being said proceed with caution if someone tells you otherwise.

2. Oil Stains - We all know them and we have all seen them in our driveways growing up. These stains seep down deep into and under our porous cement and like to stick around for years to come. This pesky stain is another one that cannot be guaranteed to come up. Some processes may lighten it up, but it's not 100% guaranteed to come out. So next time you are about to hit the garage to change your oil, try laying a tarp down before hand so you don't get the oil all over your driveway or garage floor. Just like calcium stains, if someone tells you they can 100% guarantee they can get the stains out please proceed with caution.
